Accommodation

Homestay*

Staying with a host family is a superb chance to maximise opportunities for language practice and to gain an understanding of Russian culture.

Our homestays are visited by our staff who assign accomodation and are monitored by students’ feedback. We have been working with most of the families from the very beginning of our school. They have been chosen for their friendliness and the warm welcome they give to all the students.

Homestays are located in the historic districts of the city and can be from a 20-minute walk to a 30- minute ride to the Institute. All the homestays are conveniently located close to public transportation links.

As the homestay accommodation is mostly chosen to improve the language through constant communication in Russian, we ask our hosts not to speak other languages apart from Russian.

Shared flat**

Located in the building next door to the Institute, the shared flat is an ideal alternative for those who want to live independently, for a rather cheap price and close to the Institute. There is no host living in the flat.

We could offer you 2 or 4 rooms flat. The flats are fully equipped. There are single rooms and double rooms, a shared bathroom, a kitchen and a common room (only in 4-rooms flat).

The flats contains a microwave, laundry facilities, TV, and a telephone for local calls (international calls are possible with a phone card). Bed linen is supplied, but the students are responsible for washing and cleaning the flat.
