Students are encouraged to seek any help they need at any time during their stay, and parents are assured that their children are in the safest of hands during their EC programme.

MALTA AS A DESTINATION

Small and easy to explore, Malta is a charming and friendly place to learn English.

Our activity programmes include relaxing on the beach as well as visiting the island’s many places of interest.

Whilst being a sunny and bright island, Malta is also steeped in history and has great natural beauty from neolithic temples to crystal clear sea.

PROGRAMMES

The CLASSIC MALTA PROGRAMME is tailored for teenagers aged 13 – 17 years and offers Club accommodation, Economy residence or host family accommodation.

Homestay

Staying with a Maltese family is a great way for students to practice their English outside of school whilst learning about the culture of this interesting island.

All of our host families are licensed by the Malta Tourism Authority and approved by EC’s Accommodation staff who also visit all host families regularly.

Economy hotel

Students choosing the Economy Residence will be staying in the 4-star Crown Hotel, situated 500 metres from the sea in the resort of St. Pauls Bay.

Overlooking St. Paul’s Islands, this once traditional fishing village still retains much of its original charm.

Club accommodation

The Junior Classic Club accommodation is set in the beautiful 4 Star Coastline Hotel in the northern coast of Malta commanding fantastic sea and country views.

Parents and guardians will have peace of mind knowing that their children are being properly looked after in a comfortable, safe and secure environment.

The SUMMER CAMP PROGRAMME is suitable for students aged 8 – 13 years and offers residential accommodation and 24 hr supervision.

Young students can experience their very own Summer Camp in Malta enjoying a summer of seaside fun and learning in a safe and nurturing environment.

Days are filled with great lessons and lots of exciting activities. Students are accommodated in the safe and secure University Residence complex and its extensive property which is located within the boundaries of the old Village of Lija,.

The residence is situated in acres of picturesque property, dotted with a variety of interesting flora and fauna and is complete with its own swimming pool, tennis court and full sized basketball court and 400 metre low impact jogging circuit.

The FREESTYLE PROGRAMME is aimed towards independent individuals aged 16 – 20 years and offers hotel accommodation in the city centre.

If students want to learn English this summer, enjoy a holiday, take part in activities, but want to have the freedom to explore this Mediterranean island, EC’s Freestyle programme is ideal. Students can relax and make friends as they experience the wonderful sights of the amazing destination.

FAMILY PROGRAMMES are also available for parents and children wanting to learn English. Babysitting facilities are available for children aged 3 – 7 years.

Families can experience an unforgettable family holiday with a difference this summer. Parents may take an English course at our Adult school whilst children take part in lessons and activities with young students from all over the world.
