Riversdown House was founded in 1971 and we have trained over 15,000 people since then. We specialize in one-to-one, tailored programmes for businesspeople, politicians, doctors, lawyers, and other professionals. You will experience “Total 
Immersion” in the English language – using English from breakfast until bedtime each day.
We are also experts in “Cross-Culture” – our Chairman Richard D. Lewis has written several books on the subject – and we integrate intercultural knowledge in your programme, where relevant. Ultimately our goal is to help you communicate more effectively in English in real-life work situations.

Accommodation*
We have a capacity of 16 participants, all of whom have private bedrooms on site. 8 bedrooms are in Riversdown House itself, a 14th century manor house dating to 1328. The other 8 bedrooms are in Garswood, offering more modern facilities.
