LILA was established in 2004 having identified a demand for top quality language training in Merseyside.

Prices includes course and accommodation as indicated, all registration and accommodation fees, level assessment upon arrival, course materials, certificate upon completion of course.

Home to The Beatles: Liverpool’s illustrious past was bolstered by the emergence in the 1960′s of ‘The four Lads who Shook the World.’ Many Beatles sites still exist and no visit to the city is complete without a visit to the replica of the place where it all began – The Cavern.

World-Class Universities: Liverpool is home to three universities. Liverpool University with a history of eight Nobel laureates; John Moores University named after a local benefactor and Hope University located outside the city centre.

LILA has relocated to the heart of the city, on the doorstep of the Liverpool One shopping and leisure complex. The new school boasts 14,000 sq ft of contemporary learning facilities providing everything that a LILA student could possibly wish for: quality teaching, value for money, wider range of courses, great location, personal service and comprehensive social aspect will help shape your experience at LILA.

COURSES

GENERAL ENGLISH 15 AND SUMMER VACATION ENGLISH

The Summer Vacation adult program combines 15 hours classroom based tuition with 2 afternoon excursions and 1 day trip every week. Students develop their fluency and accuracy in multi-national classes while building confidence, making new friends and exploring the region. Students can choose accommodation ranging from homestay with local families to self-catering at university. The Summer Vacation adult program runs throughout July and August for individuals and groups and all year round for closed groups.

GENERAL ENGLISH PLUS

The General English Plus program gives students 21 hours tuition a week in multi-national classes of no more than 15. Personal Tutors are assigned to each student to ensure individual needs are met. In addition, an extensive social program is available through which students can explore the social and cultural aspects of Liverpool whilst using their English to meet new people and enjoy a range of activities and experiences. Intensive English is available 50 weeks per year with a minimum course length of 1 week.
