ISIS Oxford opened in June 2011 to provide a brand new, high quality school right in the heart of the city. The school offers you a fantastic space to enjoy your studies, meet new friends and explore this historic city.

Our new school has been completely refurbished and renovated to provide modern, bright facilities in one of the oldest parts of the town.

We could not be any more central, the entrance is literally 5 seconds from the High Street, opposite the market, and surrounded by some of Oxford’s most famous colleges.

A wide variety of bars, cafes, shops and restaurants are all within walking distance and we offer a fantastic social programme to help you discover the city. All bus services around the city stop within metres of our door.

There are nine classrooms overlooking Oxford’s High Street fitted with interactive whiteboards, a self-study access room, and a social room with computer suite where you can catch up with the latest news from home, research topics for your next lesson or just enjoy relaxing with your classmates.

English Courses in Oxford

General English Course:

This is a course for students who want to focus particularly on their spoken and written communication skills in English. It combines our 15 hour course with an extra 5 hours of skills input. This course is designed to boost your confidence and fluency in English, by focusing on the English that you need outside of the classroom, with electives such as British Culture, Pronunciation, English for Work and English Literature.

• 20 hours a week
• 60-minute lessons
• Monday to Friday: 9:30am – 11:00am, 11:30-1:00pm, 1:10pm-2:10pm
• Start any Monday!

Intensive English Course:

This is a course for students on a mission, students who want maximum improvement in their English in a minimum amount of time. This is a 30 hour per week course which encompasses every aspect of English from grammar to pronunciation, with listening, writing, reading and everything else in between. The course is split between morning and afternoon and is open to all levels from elementary to advanced. You can also combine exam preparation in the morning with General English in the afternoon.

• 30 hours a week
• 60-minute lessons
• Monday to Friday: 9:30am – 11:00am, 11:30-1:00pm, 1:15pm-5:45pm, 6:00pm-7:30pm

Homestay – carefully selected families around the Oxford area; half-board; 15 – 25 minutes travel time to the school.

Residence – single, en-suite study bedrooms in a safe, secure, international student residence; self-catering; 20 minutes travel time from the school.
