Accommodation
Homestay*
We recommend homestays as an excellent way to find out how British people live and, of course, practice the language. We personally visit each home before we add them to our portfolio of homes available to our students.
For the homestay option, price includes:
- Full-Board: breakfast, packed lunch and evening meal with the family.
- Single room with a wardrobe or chest of drawers for your clothes.
- A desk in your room or a quiet space in the house for you to do your studies.
- Family areas will be kept clean and tidy.
- Laundry including bed linen and towels will be done once per week. You will have access to facilities for ironing your clothes.
- Wi-Fi or computer access (if available).
Private accommodation:
Students may choose to rent private accommodation, having the possibility to share the place with other people or live on their own. The rents are usually given as a per room basis and are payable weekly.
If you would like to stay in Private accommodation, you must think about the additional costs that will be included, like gas, electricity and water. Also, if you are living on your own, you will not benefit from practicing your language skills while at home.
Hotels and B&Bs:
Although this is not a sustainable solution, you may find yourself needing this kind of temporary accommodation if you have not been able to arrange lodging before arriving into the UK.
