About Crest Schools of English 
Crest Schools of English is a UK Border Agency (UKBA) Highly Trusted Sponsor and has been teaching English since 1983. Our friendly and experienced teachers and administrative staff ensure that each and every student receives the very best in English language tuition.
Students are free to visit our office whenever they need (if only to say ‘hello!’), which fosters a welcoming atmosphere at the school and students can feel secure knowing that we are always on hand to help with any queries.
A recent survey showed that a vast majority of our current students chose to register with our school because they were recommended by a friend: we are very proud of this result because we believe it is the ultimate testament to the quality of our service and to the happy environment of our school.

Crest Schools of English is based in a pleasant suburb of London called Edgware. The school is located on the main street, which means students can enjoy shops, restaurants and cafes in their free time and we are just a one-minute walk to the station.
The advantage of being here is that you can easily visit central London by bus or tube to enjoy the magnificent sights and fantastic night life – but without the stress or cost of living in the centre. It is an equally convenient location for those who want to visit the many beautiful places outside London and who want to experience real English living first-hand.

Resources
- WiFi: all students have access to free WiFi internet in our main building.
- Classrooms: our classrooms are bright and sunny. Most of our classes sit between 10 and 16 students.
- Computers: students are welcome to use the computers in our IT room at any time. From here, they can browse the internet, create documents or check their emails.
- E-learning: students are encouraged to use our e-learning portal where they can access online lessons, contact teachers and check their timetables. The portal can be accessed from any internet connection so students can use it whenever and wherever they are.
- Cafes: the school is located right in the middle of a huge number of restaurants and coffee places – you will be spoilt for choice!

Why General English?
Our General English classes are designed for students who want to develop all their language skills: reading, writing, listening and speaking. General English classes will also help you to improve your grammar, pronunciation and fluency. Classes are available for all levels from beginner to proficiency.

Intensive and Total Immersion
Improve your English faster with greater exposure to English
The Crest Schools of English Intensive course is the best programme to take if you want to improve your language level in a short amount of time.
You will have greater contact with teachers in a classroom setting and lots of opportunity to practice your language skills, participate in classroom activities and learn with other students. The additional exposure to English will give you the confidence you need to practice your speaking and improve your accuracy.

- Level beginner to advanced

- Ideal For: students and professionals who want to receive as much tuition as possible in a short amount of time
Accommodation
Crest Schools of English can arrange accommodation for our students. We have a variety of options, including hostel and hotel rooms but our most popular accommodation is the homestay.
Students living with homestays stay in comfortable rooms owned by local residents. Only the very cleanest, safe and friendly homestays are selected for our students and their accommodation is monitored regularly. An advantage of living at a homestay is that you can practice speaking English with your host and experience British culture first hand. It can be a really lovely addition to your experience in London and many students keep in touch with their hosts long after their course has finished.
All our homestays are near to the school, some within walking distance and are priced weekly from Saturday to Saturday or Sunday to Sunday. There is an accommodation booking fee of £40 and we can offer shared rooms to students travelling together. Prices are subject to a seasonal supplement of £10 per week in July and August and £20 per week over the Christmas period.
