MandaLingua School is a leading Chinese language school in Shanghai, offering customized Chinese Language programs. The School was established by a team of European and Chinese language experts their goal being to bring both cultures closer together.

MandaLingua provides highly customized programs such as intensive language classes, evening and weekend classes, or work & study programs combined with internships at Chinese and international companies. Classes are taught by a team of experienced, certified Chinese language instructors.

All levels are oriented towards the Common European Framework of References for Languages and HSK. For every level 60 to 80 lessons are needed.

Our classes have been designed on the basis of a clear standardized teaching and learning methodology. All textbooks were developed internally, especially for use in MandaLingua classes.

All our teachers teach with pleasure and passion and have a university degree in Chinese, so establishing their qualification for teaching Chinese as a foreign language. In addition, all our teachers regularly take continuing education courses to increase and enhance their didactic, linguistic, and interpersonal skills.

All textbooks were carefully developed by ourselves and are oriented towards the Common European Framework of Reference for Languages and the Chinese proficiency test HSK. The contents of the textbooks are fascinating, carefully structured and well thought-through, with the exacting core competencies of the language specially presented.

The Chinese Course in Shanghai Consists of:

General Chinese Course in Shanghai: 20 lessons of 50 minutes
Intensive Chinese Course in Shanghai: 30 lessons of 50 minutes
Up to a maximum of 8 students per class (Average: 6 students)
Students with some level of Chinese will be able to start any Monday
Highly qualified, experienced Chinese teachers

Our school location

The school is located in the heart of Shanghai, close to the well-known People’s Square.

You have a convenient access to our school by taking the bus or the subway line 1, 2 or 8 to People’s Square station.

Our school is just a few minutes walk away from the metro station. Also the famous pedestrian street Nanjing Road and the shopping street Huai Hai Road are also close by.

Furthermore museums, parks and shops can be reached at short distance. Restaurants and coffee shops are close by.

Course Information

The Practical Chinese Course teaches practical applications of Chinese aimed at enabling you to communicate securely and confidently in various situations of daily life.

This course is ideally suited for all language travelers who would like to improve their Chinese in China and would like to promote their language skills in a group setting from Monday to Friday.

Accommodation

Homehotel: A homehotel is a shared apartment together with one or two Chinese roommates.

This offers a good chance for you to improve your Chinese language skills and to learn more about Chinese culture.

The apartments are convenient to reach via the public transportation system (buses or subways) and just 20-30 minutes away from our school.
