LSI Vancouver is located on the 1st floor of a clean modern office building in downtown Vancouver. We have been open in Vancouver since 1993 and the parent schools in London England, have been operating since 1965.
LSI Vancouver offers 14 lovely classrooms, a computer room for students with internet and wireless, multi-media self-study materials, and kitchen facilities including free coffee and tea, fridge and microwaves. The school is conveniently located near bus, Skytrain, and Seabus for excellent transportation options.
Additionally, LSI provides a full activity schedule for students including after school events such as Vancouver Canucks professional ice hockey games, playing sports, movies, museums, etc. and weekend excursions to Whistler Mountain, the Rocky Mountains, and Tofino and Victoria on Vancouver Island. Most of our students stay with Vancouver families as Homestay students so that they can maximize their English immersion experience and during the summer some students choose to stay in student residences at the University of British Columbia (UBC).

LSI Vancouver strongly believes in creating an atmosphere to increase all students’ communicative competence in all aspects of their English. All of our courses, Business, Intensive and Examination preparation emphasize the ability to communicate in the target language. We strongly promote immersion in English and international friendships. We work very hard to know all of our students and get them involved with the other students and the community. Many of our teachers have worked with us for over ten years and therefore have a deep understanding of the needs of students.
Our business classes are run by teachers who have also worked in the public sector so they have both teaching as well as real business experience. We have an excellent mix of nationalities and usually about 30% of our students are from Europe, 30% from Asia and 30% from Latin America.
