For over 15 years, BEC-Rocky Mountains has helped students achieve their goals. We have small classes (maximum 10 students in a class).
We are Languages Canada accredited and since 1996 we have been helping students to achieve their dreams and goals. We have highly qualified teachers (all of our teachers are TESL Canada Certified or in the process of receiving their certification).![]()

- Paid Work While You Study and Paid Work & Study
- Up to a maximum of 10 students per class (Average: 8 students)

About our school
- Students usually arrive at Calgary Airport and our airport shuttle takes them into the Rocky Mountains. (Canmore is located just over 1 hour from Calgary.)
- The school is located right beside a grocery store, Starbucks coffee, sandwich bakery and 2 banks. It takes about 5 minutes to walk downtown.
- We are in a valley surrounded by Mountains.
- Our area is famous for beautiful scenery and the large selection of activities available.

Course information and details
General English (English Communication) 15 Hours/week
Our English Communication program (General English) covers Listening, Speaking, Reading and Writing Skill areas as well as grammar, vocabulary, practical themes and pronunciation.
Our Benchmark Levels are based on the Canadian Language Benchmarks.
Course Points:
- 15 Hours/week
- 55 Minute lessons
- 8:30 to 11:30 Monday to Friday (Friday mornings students have a conversation based lesson)
- Level testing every 100 hours of instruction
- Average 7 students in each class (Maximum 10)
- Course Certificate
- Weekly start dates (Students can start at the beginning of any week)
Intensive General English (English Communication) 30 Hours/week.
Students who study the full 30 hours/week course are able to see results very quickly. Students also are able to take advantage of 1-hour/day computer based lessons and small focused afternoon lessons with qualified teachers.

Home Stay*: 2 or 3 meals/day
- Self-made (food provided) breakfast and homestay-made dinner together with a Canadian family (packed lunch is provided for 3 meals/day students)

Room Rental** (Single or double) (For 2 Students in 1 room students must wait until 2 students can be matched to share a room):
