Course information and details

Start and Duration

Spanish group classes start every Monday during the whole year. Each of our 9 levels is limited to a maximum of six students. Our medium class size is 4 students. In the unlikely case where there is only one student at a level, the number of daily lessons is reduced from 4 to 3.

Our classes are quite intensive due to the limited number of students (maximum 6) per class and you will have some homework after school (depending on your dedication between 15 and 60 minutes).

Intensive course

  • 20 group classes per week of 55 minutes each
  • Minimum course duration: 1 week
  • Schedule: 09:30 am to 01:30 pm or 2 pm to 6 pm

Superintensive course

  • 20 group classes per week of 55 minutes each, plus 5 private lessons per week
  • Minimum course duration: 1 week
  • Schedule: 09:30 am to 01:30 pm and 2 to 3 pm

We use a communicative approach to teaching and have developed a full set of training materials inhouse, distributed in the form of books.

Our teachers are highly rated language professionals with relevant degrees from top universities in Argentina and abroad. Our curriculum is based on the European Framework for Languages, as specified by the Cervantes Institute for the Spanish language.

All courses can also be continued at one of our sister schools in Bariloche or Montevideo which offer the same prices, curricula and study materials. No extra inscription fees. You can change schools every Monday and discover other parts of the region. The same is true for our partner schools of the AMERIGO network in Córdoba, Montevideo and Santiago de Chile.

All students can participate in our free extracurricular activities of which we offer at least 3 per week, including a Thursday night movie and debate (a glass or two of wine ensures that beginners can also participate in the debate). Other activities include guided visits to parts of town, tango lessons and milonga, asado grill evenings etc.

On weekends the school offers students the possibility to participate in excursions in and around Buenos Aires and to other parts of Argentina or Uruguay.

Shared Apartments

We manage a certain number of shared apartments of excellent standards, within walking distance of the school. All rooms are singles, which can have double occupancy only in the case of couples travelling together.

The common areas are a living room, the kitchen, a study area and the bathroom. Mostly between 3 and 6 students share a house or apartment. Prices include linen, towels, wifi, cleaning service.

Family Homestay*

Living with an Argentine family during your stay in Buenos Aires is a unique possibility to get to know our way of life: our habits, our food, our daily schedules, traditional Argentine hospitality and much more.

It allows you to practice your Spanish in everyday situations, to improve your vocabulary, to improve your pronunciation and to get a feel for the use of certain expressions and phrases. Host family stays are the perfect way to truely learn and live the Porteño lifestyle.

The families that work with us are part of our program and know the way we work.

They are prepared to receive our students and to introduce them to life in Buenos Aires. Some of them live alone, but their circle of family and friends will always be around offering possibility to interact in true social contexts. This is the best way for practicing the language and getting in touch with the people and culture.
